So much for consequencees ever being the same again.
Also, it would take Gingrich.
[QUOTE="Communist_Soul"]just ask him and he'll help you!I would need to become American.

Awesome! Thanks Obama I won't you down!
I don't want to vote for him, he's basically just a repeat of the Bush administration, and the GOP doesn't look much different either. I'll tell you one thing, if Gingrich get's the nominee I'll vote for Obama, same goes for Santorum and Paul. I consider them to be all a bit extreame and I don't want them in office (especially Gingrich) Paul I think has some good ideas but he should be an advisor or something, not president, and Santorum is a HELL no.
Romeny I would vote for over Obama but I don't think it would matter, he's just the GOP version of Jon Kerry and he would also be a repeatof the Bush Years. But I just find some his BS a little easier to swallow, it's really the lesser of two evils really. Next Election is going to suck, that's for sure. But I vote because I consider it my duty to do so, I just wish there was someone actually GOOD to vote for!
My main candidate was John Huntsman but he's basically gone. Now it's just a party with a bunch of bad choices matched up against another bad choice in the white house.
1st he'd have to repeal of the NDAA before the next election, propose and push a strict bill to outlaw lobbying, andbring the fed. reserve under control of the US gov't. No rush. He's got a year to get it done. :)
Who else are you going to vote for though? Paul's the only one who would even try to change the NDAA.1st he'd have to repeal of the NDAA before the next election, propose and push a strict bill to outlaw lobbying, andbring the fed. reserve under control of the US gov't. No rush. He's got a year to get it done. :)

all he'd have to do for me is send me an autographed shirt with a picture of his face on it in that cool way during his 08 campaign. He would have to somehow become competent and actually get this country on the road to paying back our debts....which he failed at already.what would Obama have to do or say for you to guarantee him your vote?ZumaJones07
The lesser of two evils which he appears to be.kuraimenI wish it would make more people angry that we only get two choices in the "free" country. Red or Blue isn't much of a choice when they both suck.

We need to evolve out of this so called democracy crap that doesn't really work.

Unless you want to count that pathetic excuse for one called representative democracy.
Anyway, democracy isn't for Americans. I am under the impression the impression that most of the population shouldn't vote.

I'd have to look up his stances on a lot of those issues and other important ones. I don't know much about Paul tbh, but most of what I have heard has been positive in my book. If he checks out, I'llput myvote infor him. If not, I won't be voting for anyone. I'm done voting for the lesser of two evilsbecause when that's the case, which I strongly feel it is, you know something is absolutely wrong with the picture.
Edit: Basically, Ron Paul's the only person atm I'd consider voting for. But even then I'd have to find out more about him over the coming months.

I agree it's a plutocracy or corporatocracy but not a democracy. I think the modern notion of democracy in pretty flawed. First it assumes that people are informed enough to know what's best for them and vote with intelligence and second that manipulation by power elites doesn't happen. We need a new system ASAP and not just in the US.all he'd have to do for me is send me an autographed shirt with a picture of his face on it in that cool way during his 08 campaign.what would Obama have to do or say for you to guarantee him your vote?ZumaJones07
He'd pretty much have to murder someone publicly for me to NOT vote for him. Look at what he's running against.
Were I a US citizen he would need to be up against a crowd of idiots so ill-meaning and dangerous in intent that I had no choice but to vote for Obama least I witness a great country be further buried in a sea of anti-intellectualism and ill-placed beliefs. The man has luck on his side, I'll give him that.Ace6301
How is this not happening now? All that's happening on the right is a 3-ring circus over who can say the best thing right now to get the nomination. Then when they get it they will change up against Obama and say the right thing to seem like real change.
All of it is a lie, and we buy into it so easily. Everyone is so entrenched in DC that you literally have to trade away beliefs and agendas to get anything done. Want clean air? Ok, in exchange we need to pay more in tuition ... Want better protection from credit card companies? Better give up some internet privacy ... In a system where it's easier to get bought by lobbyists or to trade votes than it is to stick to your guns and try to accomplish real change, nothing substantial ever happens in one general way or another.
Politicians lie, cheat and worm their way into their positions, then just laugh at us and profit. Even well-meaning people like Obama look corrupt because they are really powerless against the might of Congress.
Nothing. I did not vote for Obama in 2008 and i deffinately will not vote for him again. He has be disastrous.
Some of you guys give the presidential position too much credit, they really don't have that much power.
Obama can't change the U.S. by himself in 4 years...
