How would the sun fall? That would require there to be an object of greater mass nearby to pull it within its own gravity.

The sun can't fall, it's a much larger structure than earth is. The correct term is "What would you do if the sun was Colliding with Earth"

In that case, honestly, i would try to bone as many girls as possible. suprise ******* anyone?

The sun can't "fall", it's not a tiny yellow orb within the earth's atmosphere, it's a massive star in the center of the solar system. The only thing it does is set, in which case I would turn the lights on...

If you wanna get all technical about it, the sun isn't light years away, it takes the light from it 8 minutes to reach earth...

Considering you ripped on the TC for making a mistake...apparantly not. IF you're going to poke fun at someone for making a mistake, don't get all whiney when people turn around and the same thing to you.

WEll there could be an object with greater mass than the sun which was pulling it and th eearth Towards it, and the sun was being pulled at a faster rate (since their's a large amount of gravity acting on the Earth from both the sun, and the other object, thus slowing down the rate at which thesun would get pulled in), and that it just so happensin it's path to this other object the sun would crash into the earth. By "crash into" I mean consume in a fiery blaze of awsome.

No, don't be silly. The sun is only about an inch or two across. How could the Earth fall into something that small?

Actually it coudl still fall into said small object. It could be a highly compressed mass, thus having a powerful amount of gravity due to a large mass being compressed into a small space.

But that's still completely relative isn't it? Considering that the galaxy is forcing us in a certain direction right now and the galaxy itself is being pulled in another direction. It should still be all about where you put the reference point. But I get your point, a burning wrecking ball can totally fall on a tiny bird egg.

Exactly :P I mean depending on whether you live certain scientific theories, our entire Galaxy "orbits" around a Super MAssive Black HOle at the centre of our galaxy. Either way, The Universe is easily one of the most interestings things...well, in the Universe :P

Well, I think it'd be more appropriate to say that the Earth is falling into the sun. Saying that the sun is falling into the Earth would be like looking at a falling baseball and saying that the Earth is falling onto a baseball.

why does everyone take everything so literal. He asked a question, are you gonna answer it or go. Technically the sunzor would be too bigzor at A/C multiplied by 0.235465432 the gravity would be 6/2 times 10834 divided by 4 then you take the..... I would personally hang out with people.

He could have just said, "what if the world was ending?" He didn't have to phrase it like a mentally deficient 4th grader might.Â
