If someone just gave you $15k, your 18 years old and you didn't have any bills to pay, and you dont have to pay for college, you can still live at home for anouther year, what would you do with it? How would you use it to make more money?
Lets just say you get 19K, you take out 4 out to pay off bills, buy some needed things and some personal leisure and stuff like that. Nothing to spent the 15g for afterwards

Using it to make more money? Well, that's really too small of an amount to start up any kind of decent business, unless you want to do consulting or landscaping or something. You could study up on stock and commodity trading.
If it was a gift, and I didn't have to do anything at all to get it, I'd put all of it into my 401K, or a similar investment for my retirement. Putting that much into a bank savings account is a bad idea because of the low return on interest.
haha...My first year at college almost cost that much..... :( Well since you say I don't have to pay for college, then I would buy a Hybrid car, because my car is about to die and I have negative $14,000 plus the probably $2,000 of interest that accured on my loans just this year....Those interest rates are freaking insane...I probably owe $20,000 by now..LOL
