so,OT,what would you spend on if you were given a slush fund of $80.08?

for me,of course I would spend this over a strip club VVIP access somewhere in Las Vegas(I was there 2 years ago,but I should've spent it that time)

If i had that right now, i'd go buy some gifts for co-workers. Maybe even do lunch with one. I think the answer to this would depend where your at, and when.

I'd put it towards a plane ticket for a small trip to a different state, provided I had the rest of the money for the trip. But it'd help, and it'd be ideal.

Realistically, I'd spend the entirety on cheap vodka and cigarettes, and hope my liver and/or pancreas doesn't give out by the end of the binge.

$80? Jesus Christ! I havent ridden a bus in years but I know a month pass here now is $58 (used to be $40 when I was in high school which was the last time I took a bus 4 years ago. It also used to be a $1 for a ride, now its $1.75). But the bus system he is horrible, one of the worst. Bus Stops are just a pole with a sign on the dirt in the middle of random bare places, most of the dont have benches, if they do its just a small bench with no roof or anything

Where I live in Northern CA, a standard 30 day local bus pass is $35. More if it is regional. Less if you are disabled, senior citizen, or a student.

I wish my monthly passes were $58 haha. To me that's cheap. I can't speak for one_plum, but here in Portland, OR, a monthly bus pass is $100. For a 2 hour ticket, it's $2.50 and a all day pass is $5. And in my experience, the prices went up but the service went down. It's pathetic.

ha yea i need to do that as well. Laptop is getting old and not doing things it should. have had to reinstall the OS a couple times recently. luckily was able to transfer my files to our main desktop, but would be nice to just have one place i can store all my stuff.

coincidentally, we opened our christmas gifts earlier today, since we have family coming over tomorow, aslo we are getting two new puppies.

got a 25$ amazon gift card and 200 bucks from my parents, i had them just transfer the money to my account instead of getting it in cash. so i bought myself a 1TB external HDD. with the gift card and free shipping, only really cost me 49$. not bad, considering im going from 250GB of space to a little less than 1000GB of space.
