Prisons are where people go if they cant pay a fine towards a crime...a not severe crime of course, like shoplifting. I really dont know. I mean, I really do hate Illegal immigrants, yet if they have a child in the US, that child isnt offically illegal...I think that is the number one reason we cant get an immigration bill at the moment...schoeffmaster

I suggest having a one-year wait on all illegal immigrants and when the year is up, all illegals are to take a liability test for if they have the qualities to become an American citizen....(such as speaking English fluently, proving tolerance to the law and others, and education). This will filter out and be left with those who really wants to become an American, who have earned it and deserve to stay. The rest are sent back, but are allowed in for a temporary guest workers program. This can keep our large lower class workforce we need for the jobs most of us won't do to keep the economy up.

I say it's a perfect idea.
