Tough to pick a favorite. I don't think any show has provided more consistent laughs than Arrested Development.

 I would say back in the day it would probably be the X-Files. It was just an entertaining show and was quite scary (I was pretty young at the time). Plus, it had both smaller plots that would be over when the episode ended and larger plots that apparently never ended even when the show went off the air.
