What'd be your Inception Totem? The thing that tells you your in a dream.

For those that didn't wathc the movie (or just forgot) Its an item thats carried by the person entering anothers dream that can tell them wether or not there in a dream so they don't lose touch with reality. It needs to be somthing that you can learn the weight and feel of but also be unique enough so that the person whos dreaming can't recreate it true to life in their mind.

Or atleast Thats how I understood it, I might have everything backwards :P

Anyway, what Item would you take?

I'd take the cross that I've worn every day since grade 2 probaly. I consider i such a part of me that if I lose it I always notice the difference of weight on my neck.

I always thought it was odd it had to be a real life object since it was all in a dream, why not make it something that's not real which would make it easier to know if you're in the dreamworld or the realworld? For this reason I would have a sonic screwdriver just because it would be cool. But something that's real would have to be an iphone so I could use a gps app to find my way around the dream.

Probably my old cell phone. It runs out of battery in like 5 minutes now (which is why I upgraded), so I imagine the dreamer would let my phone last a longer time on, thus letting me know I'm in a dream.
