Suzumiya Haruhi (dont watch the first episode :P), FireXero
it's good as long as you don't watch it as the first episode. Naturally the episodes are out of order, and you can find lists that put them into order and watch it that way. It makes more sense in chronological order but a few people have told me they love the original order.
To the TC we really can't give you any good advice on anime unless you tell us what you're looking for. Do you want action, fantasy, comedy, drama, or something else. There's alot of anime out there that never makes "mainstream" US due to the fact that most WOtaku's (western Otaku's, or american anime fans) just like action/fantasy shows like Naruto or DBZ. Also we don't know what shows you've seen before.

I think its actually better that way, it keeps the drama in the serie even after the main story and it makes you look forward to the next episode.Â
if you are looking for a mature type anime I would say ghost in the shell and planetes they are both sci-fi, oh and you must have a little knowldege in political science and sociology if you are goin to watch ghost in the shell or just watch it over and over agian if you want to get the full detail of the story.
if you are looking for a different kind of anime theres Death Note, its different coz the main character aint a 'goodie goodie one' the main character is an anti-hero.
anime movies, uhmmm........ spirited away its the alice in wonderland of anime, akira its old but still holds up.
and theres cowboy bebop, full metal alchemist, naruto ( if you can tolerate the fillers), exile.
I'll list a few I like..
Death note, Fruits Basket, Bleach, Blood +, Baki the Grappler, and Ouran High School Host ClubÂ
I recommend the bold one's :PÂ
Elfen Lied
Death Note
Shuffle!
Shakugan no Shana
Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
Fate/Stay Night
Shingetsutan Tsukihime
Lucky Star
best of what I've seen
Neon genesis Evangelion (my favourite) , Saikano, Elfen Lied, Serial Experiments Lain...
Thoes four are my all-time favourite animes. They are rather complex though, and I don't know if you'd like them if you're into animes like prince of tennis.
warning: Elfen Lied is gory...very, very gory.
Fruits Basket- its only 26 eps, and is a great "feel good" anime.
Hikaru No Go- Hmm... not for everyone, but it made me cry near the end. Its slow starting but you actually get hooked on it!
Naruto and Bleach- just cause they are the "big uns" of anime

I need to see Hikaru No Go!!! and I see you also like Fruba  (have you read the manga?)Â
I suggest you don't try Bible Black, since it's hentai. As for the rest, while some of them I didn't like, I suppose that others might like them (what are the odds, though? =P).
I'd add 'Hayate no Gotoku' and 'Higurashi no Nako Koro ni'. The latter is kind of gory, but though I think that it's supposed to be scary I found it to be rather funny (I really couldn't stop laughing, something about the show... Like a harem anime or date-sim gone bad).
`
Lucky Star, Evangelion, GTO, Death Note, Excel Saga, FMA, Cowboy Bebop, RahXephon, Trigun, Hellsing, Berserk, Azumanga Daioh, Furi Kuri, Elfen Lied, Chrono Crusade, Samurai Champloo, Akira, Spirited away, Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky, Grave of the fireflies, Nausicaa of the valley of the wind.....the list goes on.Celldrax
Eureka Seven!
where do you watch all these animes??Leo_Rules
Try Youtube, though they can sometimes get deleted because people who strictly follow the TOS, mods, and people who just hate anime tag them and the mods find and delete them. Some people who dislike anime do it to ruin other's fun.
I know not youtube. What other sites?Leo_Rules
Google Keiichianimeforever, although their lists aren't all complete and they run through Youtube. You'll have to buy DVD collections or full downloads.
You can try www.anime-eden.com.
