Post a movie that got big awards or hype that you didn't like.

I'll start. Apocalypse Now Redux. The redux version is like the directors cut. I'll have to watch the original version again but the redux was very bad. It had extra scenes that were boring and silly.

Dr. Strangelove. I just did not laugh and it was made to be part comedy. It just wasn't my taste but I can see why others liked it.

The Dark Knight- (Aside from Heath Ledgers scenes, I thought the movie was rather dull)

I did not like Citizen Kane (apparently the greatest movie of all time according to the AMA)

or Fargo (one of my friends watches it all the time and i desperately tried to like it but couldn't bring myself to do it)

I also dislike all the Terminators

Fight Club, Pulp Fiction. Actually I wouldn't even call them good.

Some Like It Hot- I just didn't find it funny, and the characters were just annoying. But I personally thought Strangelove was a riot.ZookGuy

I liked that one but I didn't fall out of my chair laughing on that one. Marilyn Monroe was just incredible though.

No country for old man. i think it got many awards didnt it? or was it just daniel day lewis? well this is the only movie i can think of. The movie was boring like hell, if it werent for daniel day lewis great acting i wouldnt it even had watch it till the end. This guy with the moustache reminds me of Liquid Ocelot, he would defenetly do a great job as ocelot.

wait what? i thinking im confusing the movies. Is No Country the one with that awsome killer with the coin scene at gas station? i tought it was the one with daniel day lewis about oil or something. If No country is the one with the killer and Tommy lee Jones, then i liked that one, but it was a bir boring too.

2001: A Space Oddysey.... i just hated how scenes were SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW.

The Birds.... I just couldn't stand how some scenes dragged on forever. I also hated the diner scene. The diologue went on forever and they all said the same things over and over again. :?

There Will Be Blood. I watched it 3 times with the intention of liking it. Never did end up liking that film. Nothing likable about it except for the cinematography and acting.

A clockwork orange the movie just felt very monotous and boring .

Pulp Fiction is the one that springs to mind immediately.

2001 was kind of slow for me too. They didn't explain the ending in the movie like they did in the book which can make it worse for people who didn't read the book.

Lord of Rings: Fellowship of the Ring- Fell Asleep half-way through the movie

Transformers- It was decent, but I kind of got bored of watching it

And as for the dark knight seeing as that was mentioned I liked the movie and all, but it was a little over-rated I think I like the X-men movies and Spider-Man a bit more.
