I have absolutely no idea what science course to take next school year. This year, I will finish AP Chem. But now I can't really choose between AP Bio or AP Physics B. I can remember a lot of information and loved that the qualitative data from Honors Bio, but I also like the quantitative data and calculations of Physics. Maybe I should take both? Oh... I don't know... Please, help me...

I was a fan of physics in highschool, and hated biology. The only time biology was cool was destroying small animals, or as the teacher called it, "dissection."

I guess if you like hard core math, then Physics will probably be the way to go.

LOL. Which animals BTW? In Honors Bio, my classmates and I "dissected" a raw chicken wing.

depends on what college you want to go to. i took physics because the college i applied to is strong on math and science. i would also add in that bio is mostly reading and memorization and physics is mostly conceptual.

Does that mean Precalc/Trig? Precalc is cool, but Trig's kinda annoying...

Oh! I have several questions about the AP Chem exam:

-How much of a role do Thermodyanmics and Electrochemistry play in the exam?
-What pieces of info do I need to know about Nuclear Chem?
-MOST IMPORTANT (to me): What was the exam like?

In my experience, high school level physics classes don't need anything higher than basic algebra. The problem is the formula's stack up. Some post cards to jot down all your equations will come in handy. I guess it's more on the memorization side, just like BIO :P

We dissected a squid, a small bird, a snake, a frog, and a rat.

Yeah, our teacher was an idiot. I think he thought giving us animals to destroy would be something to do, so he just let us do whatever we wanted. He didnt even grade us for it. It was like dissection recess. We would cut the animals to bits (1 hour of sitting around gets boring in highschool, so you get destructive....)

Physics, explains the world. But Biology is great as well, take both if you can handle it. But your stress is the most important thing to consider, if it's going to stress you out bad take only one.

Well if you can understand the meaning behind the equations then it just becomes common sense and you don't have to 'remember' them.

What do you want to do in college? Medical related fields require biology. Engineering/Computer Science requires knowledge in Physics. Take that into consideration so you can be better prepared for whatever major you're taking in college.
