Mine are Yuyu Hakusho, and Death Note.
Death Note really dropped the ball in the final third of the series, I don't want to spoil it here but what they did with one of the crucial characters just made the rest of the show pointless.

You being serious? Since in the anime fanbase your picks are mainstream too.

I am actually in the middle of finding oodles of anime through Netflix, and I am very glad I suddenly decided to do so. I have especially enjoyed Claymore, Elfen Lied, and This Ugly Yet Beautiful World. I also very much like Fullmetal Alchemist. DBZ isn't too shabby either, but I always wished that Gohan would have been able to own face like he was meant to against Buu.
True, but come on, it picked up again after the episodes with all them businessmen or whateverr (after around 30)Death Note really dropped the ball in the final third of the series, I don't want to spoil it here but what they did with one of the crucial characters just made the rest of the show pointless.

I haven't seen an anime that I really liked, anime isn't bad but I always get this feeling of embarrassment when I watch one. The cheesy lines, the overly emotional teenagers being angsty over everything, the over done reactions to everything, and the fact that it's a lot of times they are just bizarre and in order for one to really take it seriously you have to know what the Japanese are really into and also respect what they enjoy.metroidprime55It depends on which series you watch. Something like monster has none of those things you described. Besides, I don't understand the embarrassment people get when they watch anime. If they enjoy it, in the end that's really all that matters.
personaly i think DBZ is the worst anime in existancepersonally i think youre trying too hard to be a hipster[QUOTE="iskeethunters"]

Don't have a favorite, but I like FMA (both original and Brotherhood), Yu Yu Hakasho, FLCL, Cowboy Bebop, DBZ (original, and Dragon Ball), Shin Chan. Think that's about it. lol
Fullmetal Alchemist, Dragon Ball, Death Note and Hellsing.
I also loved the films Spirited Away and Howls Moving Castle
Gundam Wing. Dragon Ball Z isn't far behind. I guess I could throw Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex in there too.
