What's it like to live in the snow?

Seems like its been snowing in most of the US lately, whats it like for you? annoying? fun? lame?

I live in LA so I've never been in the snow :(

I welcomed it during grade school because I wanted classes to be canceled.

Now, it's just kind of annoying because it is slippery everywhere, it's cold, and I have to shovel. I want to move to California after I graduate...I hate cold weather.

I hate it. Slick roads and shoveling are the reason why I hate snow.

I hate the snow. It's romantic and peaceful when it falls, but a pain in the butt the next day.

IDK Ive lived in it so long its kinda just somethign thats there for me, I dont pay it any attention. I do admit that when walking in the streets that dirty oily slush annoys the heck out of me though :x

It does make things kinda frustrating where you always have to shovel your driveway, sidewalks/roads are slippery and its usually pretty darn cold. That being said snow creates alot of opportunities for fun things as well. You can go tobogganing or snowboarding/skiing. Plus having a bit of cooler weather introduces some different fashion choices. As long as its not too cold, suddenly everyone has a variety of fashion choices in jackets, scraves, sweaters, blazers, etc. If its always really hot, you end up being stuck with t-shirts and polos.

Minnesota is extremely beautiful right now, even if it's cold. So I don't mind!

Well here in the UK it's been snowing like a son of a gun for the past week or so. The newspapers ran a picture taken by NASA which showed that the whole island was just white. Pure white. This is annoying in that the post is delayed and slipping-and-breaking-something opportunities are greatly increased, but on the other hand it sure looks pretty, and the population has a chance to make amusingly-proportioned snowmen :)

It's pretty annoying I guess, but I've lived with snow my whole life so I'm used to it. It's just the cold that I hate :x

I really enjoy it, go out for a bit to throw some snowballs with my mates, also just skidding around on my bike is quite an experience and the closest ill get to drifting at the moment

Scraping the snow and ice off my car and shoveling the snow are the only things that really bother me. For the most part I like it when it snows.

It snows turns to ice , Just this since about 4 or 3 weeks ago when it started to snow. I never seen snow and ice stay this long. I live in the west of Scotland.

For me its nothing special. New England always gets snow.

As long as they can keep the roads clear, I like it. It's an nice change and it often looks pretty.

Snow is nice, but this winter has brought such large amounts, making it slightly annoying.

Its been a bit hard walking places, its either walk in deep snow or slide along the icy paths. Other than that, its been fun.

I live in Southern California so I wouldn't know either, but my impressions of it when I went to Colorado one year was that it was awesome only to a certain extent.

Anyways, snow is cool even if it can be a hassle. I much prefer the cold to the heat any day, and after alot of snow it leaves things looking quite beautiful.

If your over the age of 16 and can drive it will most likely suck to you as the annoyance of driving in it and shoveling all the crap gets boring and dull.

I loved snow as a kid but on the roads with the amount of bad drivers it aint as fun as its made out to be.

I live in the snow and constantly wish I was living somewhere without snow. It's fun when you're a little kid and have snow days and play in the snow and stuff, but once that passes and you have to drive in it and are expected to be at work even if the roads are so crappy that you're afraid to drive on them, and you have to scrape ice off your car and stuff, you get sick of it real quick. The cold is worse than the snow though, I hate the cold.

cuz sledding gets dulkll here in michigan but what do i know my parent never take me anywhere out of mid michigan unless we are going to canada or rarely flying to new york or crap to visit(it was once for her wedding)
