I personally think a job you enjoy is more important, but it also has to have decent pay, or else it wouldn't really be worth it.

So what do you think?

i think its best to have something inbetween, you enjoy it a bit but it also pays well rather be at 1 end of the spectrum or the other

I'd rather have a job I enjoy. You spend 8 hours of your day at work which is a major chunk of your life, so I'd rather take a hit in pay and be happy than be rich and miserable.

I assume the job you like is less pay, otherwise the choice would be the same. My answer, the job with better pay. Money is more important for the future and also future of your children. Also unless the job you enjoy is because of the great pay, any job becomes boring after a while (say 3-4 years). Also as you get promoted (if you do), you job nature starts to change anyway.
