What's Our Purpose?

It is 100% guaranteed that the sun will eventually burn out. However it burns out, the Earth will be dead. Everything we've known to be reality will cease to exist. The tiny corner of the universe we explored to unravel the mysteries of life will abandon all consciousness.

What do you see as our purpose before that happens? What are we working towards? If there is a goal and a purpose; is it to serve a higher being? A higher form of life? What service could we possibly provide the universe?

If the world unified under your God, what would your next goal be?

If we are here by random chance, will we migrate to a new planet? And just continue as long as we can? Could we possibly live long enough as a species without purpose to survive on other planets?

I'm not really looking for a solid answer. Sometimes I just wonder...

I like to think that in the grand scheme of things, we're like ants. We're meant to work and provide for our scoiety, but every so often there's this bastard kid with the magnifying glass.
