What's so bad about the Disney channel? It's my favorite channel to watch.

Hate on a player but that's my joint. Great and funny shows. Nice, clean and wholesome. Shows don't have to have nasty perverted stuff and language to be good. A lot of really pretty girls, too. Miley, Demi, Selena, etc. It's not a little kids channel unless you're watching Playhouse Disney. It can a appeal to older people.

Because I like the live action shows and because Phineas and Ferb is on Disney.

Disney channel is entertaining if you're 14 or younger. Above that and you (hopefully) have too good of taste to be able to stomach the extremely cliche, predictable, and simplisticnature of children's television. The big problem with family shows is that they recycle cliche material that was even trite 20-30 years ago. A lot of their "jokes" and one-liners are so old that they don't even make sense in today's culture. And honestly most kids' shows still have a fair amount of sexual innuendo and adult themes.

If you don't like the risque themes that a lot of adult shows have you can still enjoy yourself by ingesting media that's meant for adults but isn't filled with objectionable material. Old TV shows are great for this. If you don't want to watch old shows that have grown quaint by now then there are plenty of television shows out there that actually have artistic merit. Movies are also a good substitute. And of course there's always literature which is going to be about as high-class and mature of a narrative as you can get. Plus it's cheap since few people are interested in reading literature (they'd much rather go for the entertaining books like Harry Potter or Tom Clancy novels).

Disney channel should consist of all the classic and new good cartoons. And its series.

Waaaaay too much stuff with real people.

Its just not disney channel, its just a place for a lot of garbage now.

I'm all for Selena, in fact the wizard show isn't so bad.

But Demi and Miley are more annoying than anything.

I don't find the shows great, nor funny. I also don't find Miley pretty in any way shape or form. What happened to the mickey mouse cartoons on Disney?AAllxxjjnn

This is why the channel fails. Where the hell is the Disney...

Disney makes so many shows with the same camera angle examples: Wizards of Waverly Place , HM, the suite life of zack and cody, etc

The girls on Disney are awesome.

They can...but they can also be non-vulgar and suck. Most current Disney shows fall into the latter category.

Disney has done a lot of ****ed up stuff. But what took the cake was changing Toon Disney to Disney XD. Sure they brought back Static Shock, Spectacular Spiderman but they decided to fill most of the channel blocks with suite life and phineas and ferb and took out Talespin and Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers. All the good shows from Toon Disney are dead.
