What's the appeal behind eating raw cookie dough?

If you're going to bake cookies over here, you're going to get that powdery mess... hehe :P

Anyways I would have never thought it to be edible or completely... healthy, desirable to actually eat the stuff raw before doing... whatever it is people do to magically spontaniaze cookies.

Ben and Jerry's Half-Baked ice cream might just be the best thing ever created.

The taste and the texture which is soft yet crunchy (somewhat).

Although I dont have it as a habit because I do get grossed out a bit.

I don't know about actual cookie dough. But I hate the ice cream counterpart.
