Which War of the Worlds/Day the Earth Stood Still are we talking about here? You pictured the new ones...But if we're going off them they are automatically dismissed in my book...spazzx625I don't think it would have been worth to put the old school ones instead since the majority of moviegoers have seen the remake ones

Independence day completely owns this poll. Seriously loved this film. In fact the first time I saw it was at a drive in movie theatre which made it extra cool.
I pick Cloverfield. I loved the viral marketing, and the movie is extremely underrated.Razor-Lazori enjoyed cloverfield it felt like a monster movie, not an alien movie, though

Some hardcore fans noticed that at the end where the video camera resets, you go back before the movie even started, and some sort of egg or ship crash lands from the sky into the water.

I see what you mean, and I agree. I just picked it because I never really enjoyed Independence Day and the newer versions of War of the Worlds and The Day The Earth Stood Still were terrible. And Mars Attacks was more of a comedy to me.
And Mars Attacks was more of a comedy to me.Razor-Lazori chose mars attacks as a joke :P Really, his list is more comedy than invasions. And it lacks Men in Black. Men in Black would fit right beside the others
This. Can't wait to see it I thought the short film Alive in Joburg was amazing with what little they had to make it. This is going to be an amazing movie. Also Cloverfield didn't have aliens.District 9

[QUOTE="Minishdriveby"]Also Cloverfield didn't have aliens.Jandurinthe monster? There was no confirmation that that was an alien, there have been tons of different theories.
I have seen all of them, but not Mars Attacks. I would go with either Cloverfield and War of The Worlds. But ID was so damn good, too.
