What's the deal with Monster energy drink stickers on cars?

For quite some time now I have occasionally seen these stickers on vehicle windows. It's just really weird. If anyone is wonder what I'm talking about:

I usually only see the 'M' stickers, not the whole word. I never see anyone do this for any other beverages. I don't get it. How did this even become a thing that people do?

I always wondered why anyone would put any kind of sticker on their car.

People like to advertise they drink an energy drink as this has become another way to express how "cool" they are. Another pathetic thing I have seen is people collecting the empties to show them off. I have seen both Monster pyramids and chew tobacco pyramids. Sad really.Dylan_11

Yeah, never got the point of collecting empty cans beyond getting money for recycling.
