probaly couple months....... just because for a while i never went on. But i get so scared whenever i see a new message in my inbox because i think its a warning or a loss of a point.

Levels aren't only measured by post count. They are also measured by doing other things on the site such as reading or writing reviews, watching videos, writing a blog, etc.

Just got one, its weird that you cant go and talk to the admin and ask why what you did was wrong. I mean, I didnt get a penalty, but still, I would like to defent my case. Or is that possible?
my record is 9 weeks, 3 days (with the moderation being questionable, but i didnt feel like fighting it) and since that one ive been moderation free for 5 weeks, 2 days. 8 moderations total, 2 suspensions. been here about 7 months. so i dont think ive had all that many...
I call BS. That is almost impossible. You can be modded for very small things such as off topic posting or failure to read a sticky.

Seriously though, there are some people who have more posts than me and have no warnings or moderations (only a few people though). So, it is possible. Just follow the rules, think before you post, and be respectful. It can be done.

I used to get tons of warnings and I got banned a few times a couple years ago, mainly cause I would get into arguments with people from System Wars or something :P but I haven't gotten a warning in at least a year or two because I didn't go on Gamespot too much anymore until a couple months ago.
I call BS. That is almost impossible. You can be modded for very small things such as off topic posting or failure to read a sticky.But if you know the ToU, then you can avoid those small things that get you in trouble. But to stay on topic, my first account (it's from 2003) has never received a moderation.
