The movie opens next week, you'll find out then. I guarentee that when it opens, someone will wind up uploading it on YouTube, IF in fact they even show it.

I believe its a metaphor for The United States' foreign policy.....
NOBODY KNOWS WHAT THE "CLOVERFIELD" CREATURE IS.
Somebody sig this so everyone who asks can know. It's not Godzilla, it's not a giant whale, it's not Cthulhu, it is nothing you have ever seen before. Nobody except the crew of the movie knows who it is. Wait until the movie comes out and you'll know.Taalon
hey you never know, it could be half Godzilla half whale. with a dab of cthulhu. this is the guy that produced lost so any thing is possible
Based on the hype its gotten I think they might whore it out for a sequel if it does well in theaters**which it will**The movie opens next week, you'll find out then. I guarentee that when it opens, someone will wind up uploading it on YouTube, IF in fact they even show it.

I think it'll have a good opening weekend, than take a MASSIVE hit the following week once word gets out that the movie fails to live up to expectations. A lot of people are expecting this epic, larger-than-life film, but the whole thing seems just like a marketing ploy to get as much cash as the studio can get the first two days the film opens.
i guess it COULD be a cookie monster.....
GreatDecay
i haven't seen that poster before. looks like the monster is some sort of humanoid creature, the neck/head look kind of tall, and the hands look really big.

I believe someone debunked this poster before; it's supposedly fake...I can't verify.

i disagree, sort of. of course the mystery of the big ass monster will cause millions to flock to theaters nationwide and find out what the monster is before someone ruins it for them and so that the people who do watch it have bragging/spoiler rights to the film and of course will use those rights for evil evil deeds. aka telling the general public what the monster is. with the mystery solved attendance numbers will DRAMATICALLY drop the following weekend.i think so, it might not be anything at all.Putzwapputzen
That would be totally screwed upif the filmmakers decided to pull a Blair Witch and not even show the creature, not to mention funny as all hell. All that hype over nothing.
