Long time ago, about 10 years ago when I was working at a McDonalds in the airport, a woman wanted me to take her bottle of milk and put it in a cup of hot water to warm up for her baby, but I misunderstood and poored some hot water directly in the bottle. I offered to give her some free milk as recompensation... but it turned out the milk I ruined was actually her breast milk. :? I still get embarassed thinking about the incident.
At work I needed to describe this item I reduced the price from to my superviser. Anyway it was a baby seatbelt for the car but I couldnt think correctly how to describe it and was like " Its a belt for the car or baby like a strap-on " then i stoped and realised what i said and was like oh crap.
I work for my town' park and maintenence service during the summer and had some old guy rant at me and my friend (probably thinking we were older or foremen)...
What was worse is that he kept saying that the n****** were destroying this town while one of my black friend and co-worker was standing right next to me lol...
Back when I was a waitor at a local Ruby Tuesday's, I stumbled over some large object on the ground and spilled drinks for a party of 14 onto a child of no more than 18 months. About half of the drinks were alcohol, so needless to say the mother wasn't ecstatic. No tip that time for me. :(
Hmmm, when I first began working for Circuit City I tore my pants while doing inventory. I had to waddle through the store and tell the manager I was going home to change my pants. Thank God it was before opening.
I was finishing up stock work and I left my PDT (scans items, and are worth 5 grand) in a box with some things I was marking off, and someone threw the box in the garbage compactor. Because the PDT was signed out on my name I was responsible for it so I told the boss. They ended up finding the PDT and there wasn't a scratch on it, but I sure was embarassed, and relieved.
