Whats the most famous thing about where you live

For me It would be the airport, Shannon airport in Shannon, Clare, Rep. of Ireland. Mainly because the American military jets filled there with the war in Iraq and loads of protests went on about it. Geroge Bush also visited back in 2005 and its the 3rd biggest airport in the country. I know your probably blown away by the sheer awesomeness of it all :P what bout ye?

Apparently my town made alot of Union uniforms back in the Civil War and also General George Washington camped here with the Continental Army. Although nothing in recent times, its a relatively small town.

Hi op, I live just down the road from you in stab city. I remember the day George bush visited, caused traffic chaos. Garda sent lorry down diversion and it hit railway bridge. The bridge had to be knocked and replaced.
