I would say Man On Fire. Just didn't get the attention it deserved.

By critics? Speed Racer.
It had some pretty funny moments in it, had awesome visual style, cool special effects driven races, and an awesomely cheesy storyline. Everyone I know who saw the movie loved it.
Battlefield: Earth. Really a pretty good movie if you give it a chance.
FlyingArmbar
Are you KIDDING me? One of the worst: of all time. Did you read the book? The movie ends like halfway through the book.
Most underrated? Probably A Touch of Evil by Orson Wells.
[QUOTE="soulfood4"]People must be getting confused here, underrated movies are GOOD movies, not Tron and Super Mario Bros., that never got there due creditNerd_Man
I think Tron is BOTH overlooked and very underrated. It has a 68% even on Rottentomatoes.
that movie was the funniest movie i ever saw, and i dont belive it was suppose to be a comedy. It was pretty terrible to me[QUOTE="Nerd_Man"][QUOTE="soulfood4"]People must be getting confused here, underrated movies are GOOD movies, not Tron and Super Mario Bros., that never got there due creditsoulfood4

Some of the films mentioned in this thread are praised greatly.. sammyjenkis898
Seriously... The Dark Knight? The Iron Giant? Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind? There's a difference between being an overlooked film and a film that gets overall mixed or bad reviews yet was good anyways... Whoever thought of mentioning The Dark Knight, especially... Oh nevermind.

Also, Vanilla Sky, while I prefer Abres los Ojos, this received luke warm reviews and film snobs tear it to shreds if only because its based on another movie and contains Tom Cruise. I thought it was a beautiful film, and the finale is infinitely better than Abres'. I'm sorry.
Edit, I'm not trying to say these are the MOST underrated films either, by the way. Missed the title, can't comment on that one. As I've yet to see every movie in history and read every review for said movies.
Equilibrium

Great action movie.
Movies that I think are underrated and/or didn't get the attention that they deserved are:
Equilibrium
Snatch ( I liked this one better than Oceans 12 and 13, not sure about the first one)
Rescue Dawn
Infernal Affairs ( made into The Departed by Scorsese)
Cop Land
Road to Perdition
Boondock Saints (Awesome movie)
Mystic River
There r more that I have seen that should be on this list but I just can't come up with them right now.
