Mine keep getting themselves lost or stolen, so probably 100 pounds is more than extravagant enough.

My brother has just been given a really nice Armani watch which was £300. So Id probably spend around that for a similar watch.

My brother used to work at a jewellers, selling ripoff watches to overpaid toffs. It wasn't so uncommon for people to part with thousands for a watch. He was also told that if anyone brought in a fake Rolex for repair they'd have to remove the backplate, send it off to Rolex, and smash the mechanism with a hammer... or something like that.

I collect Tag Heuer watches. And given their price, I think my cheapest was $1500, I only get one every year or so. The most expensive one I have, my wife bought me for our anniversary 5 years ago.

I don't wear watches, I just look at my cell phone for the time. But I suppose if I HAD to buy one I wouldn't spend more than $50.

I've never had a watch before, and so i went to the mall with my mommy to get one, and the only one i like was 13 hundred dollars.

It was the best watch i've ever scene in my life but i couldn't have it..

didnt realize people still wore watches...seems a bit outdated unless youre doing it just for the fashion.

Most expensive watch I've bought personally was a $70 dollar Fossil... haven't worn it in years. I have a Tag Heuer that was a gift from my grandfather when I graduated High School, not exactly sure what it's worth. I expect a pretty good chunk of change though.
