I saw some corduroy pants that I liked but the price was over $80! The most I'll spend on pants would be around $50 and shirts about $30. Anything more is just absurd.

What about you?

Hmmm, I think I spent $100 on a pair of dress shoes once. I suppose I'd be willing to spend much more on dress clothes, such as suits, ties, shoes, etc. For "normal" clothing, it's been a while since I've been shopping, but I'd put a safe bet that most of my jeans are around $30-$35 and most of my shirts are under $20.

And I've spent twice as much as you. At least once. My parents/I usually buy me clothes ranging from $30-65 each. They mostly buy me clothes from Abercrombie & Fitch and Holister.

I spent $300 for formal clothing. I was wearing it in the new PYP thread I posted. Shoes itself cost $80.

They have to be really good for that price. For tennis shoes I spend maybe $30, but I bought some D. Martin shoes for $130 and they have lasted me nine years. Pretty good value I think. Also got some steel toe work boots that cost $180 or so, but that's not a usual purchase.

The cheapest pair of shoes (boots really) are almost double of what your shoes cost. Your clothes may be formal, mine are protective.

Depends what it is.

I paid 165$ for these

(except mine are shinier)

And If I reeaalllllyyy like how it fits me and really like how it looks, I'd actually pay almost 100$ for something like this IF I have a good steady income.

Clothes I like are expensive :S I hate it.

I don't think I will have to buy another pair of work boots for quite some time. I have two pair of steel toed boots of the same style and just recently got the original pair resoled. If I wear a pair for 3 years and get them resoled, they will last even longer unless the leather gives out. And yeah, they are in the $180 range.

I obviously wear a black tanktop underneath it, and my boots are too small for me now :( I got to buy a new pair, smaller platformed ones because when I'm drunk it doesn't usually end well.

Caaann't wait to start getting paid.

Not sure. I just bought Under Armor for 25 bucks a piece and bought 2. And for warm ups (like Adidas they're 50 for the pants, which I am thinking about buying) So nothing over 100 for pants or shirts. As for shirts tbh I dont think I would pay over 50.

T-shirt - $20 Sweater - $30 Pants - $40 Shoes - $100 Jacket - $100 For business I'll spend a bit more. I'd say that for formal too, but it's such a waste considering I go to one event a year at most.
