What's the most you've ever spent on a pair of shoes?

I don't think I have ever spent over $60 on a pair of tennis shoes but my dress shoes tend to cost over $100.

between 40 to 70. Usually only buy shoes when they are on sale. Ross or the Nordstorm Rack are some good places to get some good deals :D

I average $50- $60. Most I've ever spent is $80. More than that I could not justify for anything other than work boots, or a good pair of dress shoes.

My Timberlands were $140. I work at a shoe store now so I get 40% off all my shoes now :)

In NZD, my last 2 pairs of vans cost $99 each. Probably the most I have spent on shoes though the last pair of cross trainers, I think they were $160

EDIT: forgot about my black shoes, $200. They were a good buy though, perfect fit, good for casual, work or formal and haven't shown the least bit of wear. Had them for about 3 years.
