experience? You shouldnt force yourself to date and just let it happen when it does. But when it does, it is great for experience and is a good learning tool, whether it works out or not.

My neighbours are in their 40s and were high school sweethearts, too.
I don't know about you, but some people are more than emotionally mature at that stage to handle it. I'm not trying to imply that it's something that's commonly taken seriously in high school, but there are people in that stage that are willing to commit themselves to a long lasting and possibly life long relationship. In fact, statistics show that just about 20% of all people marry their high school sweethearts. Even I was surprised to find out that it was that high. But either way, it is definitely very possible to find true love in high school if you really believe that you can and are ready for it, and you can find that special someone that is just on the same wavelength as yourself.
