whats the weirdest reason youve ever been modded for?

Commenting on the sound/tone of the people in a country I live in--more specifically--my own accent.

yeah i got a warning and a point loss for trolling too, even though i didnt really insult anybody or spam my message or anything. Just gave my honest opinion about somethingand the whole thread got axed.

the worst is when you write 1 word and get modded for it..

if someone write his opinion and u agree with it and write "this" BAM, u get modded...really whats up wid that. and i hate when people report u to mods, thats just ratting out your fellow gamers.. thats just bad...

not sure its weird, buti got modded awhile agolike 6-8 months ago for listing my 360 collection and asking people to rate it. i only did it cause i was out of ideas and seen a bunch of other people to do it. i got a warning it said i was advertising or something. and the other day i listed a topic in the wrong forum by accident i thought i was in the right one but didnt check before a submitted it

I got modded once for saying the word fail.(I hope I don't get modded for this.)

I also got modded for quoting someone else who said something bad which I totally overlooked.

I got modded for something I said a week before they modded me. I think I said "lol" or something.

Someone was going on about how Final Fantasy 13 should have remained on the PS3 as a exclusive and about how Square Enix betrayed their fans etc. etc. Then I posted the infamous Youtube video about this guy who was just rambling on about said subject and cared enough that he tried to arrange a boycott and petition and to get Square Enix to apologise publicly.

Then 2 days afterwards when the thread was completely dead I was modd'd because apparently I was trolling.

I posted this following phrase in a best beverage thread

"ROOT BEER"

and I got modded for disruptive posting

I got a moderation by GameFaqs. Most likely for saying the "r" word.

It's all fine until someone straight-up lies about the reason for their moderation. :|MAILER_DAEMON

Talk about getting offended easily. I'm sorry I don't consider a man that basically plays the same role in every movie to be "one of the funniest comedy actors there is".

Joking about dropping acid and eating a hotdog from inside out. What I find odd about it is that apparently something's only moddable for "illegal activities" if it concerns drugs or pirating, but not about joking about gunning people down and all manner of things like I see going on here all the time.

Ive been modded like 20 times already, but the absolute biggest joke was getting modded for posting a picture of a guy with a bucket of KFC.

I once got modded for commenting on an almost unreadable post. I don't believe I was that rude, but it turns out the guy was dyslexic and I ended up getting slapped on the wrist.

I once got modded for creating a topic asking what people would do if a they or a loved one were force fed poop. The reasons the mod gave me never actually made sense.

I had 2 tabs open, one replying to a thread about a PS2 game, the other replying to a thread in the mod-only forum. After I submitted a lengthy response to the topic in the mod forum, I was too tired for the PS2 thread, closed the tab, and went to bed. When I woke up, I discovered that my article of sensitive material was, of course, posted in the PS2. A user had enough sense to report it and the post was deleted.

And then there was the time my account was hacked and posted some rather unsettling photos...

Nothing weird really, but when the controversial abortionist Dr. Tiller was murdered, there was a bazillion threads on the subject. I tried to hijack one of the threads and turn it into a thread about pirates, cos, you know, ninjas suck almost as much as recycled threads.

But alas, I failed. My post was deleted within moments, and I received a moderation.
