Saint John, New Brunswick. Coming off the boat you think "why would they put a ferry terminal right in the middle of the slums?" Turns out it's not the slums at all, that's just what the city looks (and smells) like.
Lafayette Louisiana- lived there for a little bit and it is full of the rudest, most vindictive people I've ever met by far.
Cleveland. All the way, I've visited a few times and each time it always struck me how bad cleveland was. Its just lacking in culture and sort of depressing lol :P
In fact it's sooooo bad there was a music video on how much it sucked. At least its not detroit though
Not to say my city is perfect though trust me Queens is far from perfect lol!
its a 3 way tie between huntsville alabama, new orleans, and houston.
though im leaning towards huntsville, there are zero redeaming qualities to that place

I have to disagree with that. Huntsville was voted as one of the best places to live in the state and has a better job economy.
Staying in Alabama, though, my vote goes for Birmingham.
Oslo, i hate going there. Lots of drug addicts, nothing interesting to see, way to expensive!Solid_Tangooslo, norway?

hahaha being the best place to live in alabama doesnt say much. the place is super religous and super racist with really nothing to do there. the entire town is built around marshal spaceflight center and any area that isnt that is pretty much farm
detroit, michigan, live across the river fomr it, so i go alot unfourtantly.
second would be tampa, florida and buffalo
all american cities, hmmm :)
Winnipeg, easily. There are some neat spots to it, but overall it's a pretty dull city (and dirty).DJ_Lae
Not to mention the rampant crime. And the people there are gawd awfull too. And even they look dirty and rundown..
The only neat place in that city is The Forks.
Newark. manhattan was fantastic, but jersey is a hell hole.
taterfrickintot
Did you see Jersey City? I thought that place was awesome... Newark does suck though.
For me it's Atlanta.
Detroit. Travelling there on business I was supposed to visit this factory to inspect automotive parts. The gate was closed and there was a guard shack with no lights. When I walked up the guard was sitting on the floor reading a book with a flashlight. I knocked on the glass and scared the crap out of him. I asked what he was doing he told me to get back in my car. He explained that he sits on the floor because people drive by and take pot shots at him at night. He pointed out the sign for the factory which was all busted up. It was all shot out from drunks.
On the way to the hotel some guy tried to leap onto the hood of the rental car. I ended up turning around and leaving the place.
The re-done downtown area of Schenectady is really nice. But I agree, the outlying areas really have a way of making you feel like you're going to be murdered.Probably Troy or Schenectady, New York. Both are run down and and not very inviting. Schenectady has Union College though which is a beautiful campus.
