What's the worst you've ever fallen?

I was walking to school and the ground was all snowy and then I eventually got to the door. I held it open for the other students and I continue walking to my class and then as soon as I set foot on the tile, I slip and hit my head on the wall. What did everyone do? They laughed at me and no one helped me up, even teachers were laughing. It hurt so bad and I had a really, really bad headache all day and my eyes were all red. I guess the floor was all wet from melted snow and I had to be the one to fall. What's the worst you've ever fallen?

When I was a baby, I fell out of those baby chairs... twice

They thought I had cracked my skull or something, but nothing serious happened

Fell off a cliff during a field study. My cat like reflexes made me land on my feet but I broke my ankle, shattered the bone and tore the ligaments in my left foot about 4 years ago. Took me about a year to fully recover and walk properly.Soulreavercross

When I was like eight, I slid on some ice and hit my face on an air conditioner. Then I got back up and passed out, hitting my head on the wall. All was fine, though. I still have a scar from that, right next to my eye. :P But I've got to say, being unconscious was definitely one of the weirdest feelings.

Well, I fliped my mountian bike going down a steep hill, and broke my hand. That is about the only bad fall I have had. I should have had a lot more terrible falls, but I guess I am luckey.

EDIT: Well I got hurt really bad sleding in shorts one time in Vail, CO. Me and some friends were up there the week after the mountain closed, and we went sledding on some steep stuff(they were blacks) and I somehow got my leg under my sled, and slid across sandpaper like ice and tore the first few layers of skin off. It hurt like hell, but we keeped sledding. I have a really nasty scar.

I was hanging something on my ceiling and fell off of the ladder. I fell through the floor and landed on a knife in my kitchen. Our house *sucks*....randomhero5677

i was a little saje and fell... scratch that... ROLLED down our staircase and broke my right arm.Then, after we left the hospital and I was in a cast, someone rear ended us and I ended up sprawled back on the floor. My mom was hysterical that day.

Oh but I was at the beach a little over a year later and a giant wave hit me and fixed my arm.

I tried to commit suicide once. I jumped out my second story window head first with my necked craned to the the left so I would land on it and break it. However, my neck didn't break when I landed on it. My Mom found me laying in the snow outside and called an ambulance. They said that if it wasn't for the snow I would have died. I only ended up with a few bruises and scratches, but I had to spend 3 weeks in the Psych-Ward at the hopsitol.Soilworkcob

It was my only attempt. While in the hospitol I was diagnosed as Schizophrenic and the meds they put me gave me Akathesia [http://.en.wikipidia.org/wiki/Akathesia]. Akathesia is agony and I was tempted to walk into traffic which I know for certain I would have done had I not been diagnosed with it and treated with a medication which made my Akathesia disappear.

It wasn't an action based on rational thought. Oh well, live and learn. Right?

EDIT: To lighten the mood of my post, I was recently drop kicked off a trampoline by my friend, through a protective net , onto the muddy floor. Didn't hurt too much, because of the shock.

EDIT AGAIN: Another fall I remember is when running in the dark, I didn't realize there was chain going over the path I was running down. I was tripped up by the chain and fell flat on my face.

When I was very young I would try to climb the chain-link fence in my backyard. I could make it up but I had trouble with the top. Apparently once I got stuck hanging by my diaper, and another time by my shoe. Just imagine walking down the street and seeing a little kid hanging by his diaper from a fence :lol:.

I've bashed my head on the sidewalk on some skateboardesque thing I was kneeling on, that was the worst. I got a scab all across one side of my face and a gigantic lump. I've also been crushed into the boards from playing hockey in one of my few contact games, and have slipped out at high speed in such a way that my head was the first thing to hit the boards (it wasn't that bad though). I've gone down a snowy hill on a saucer looking thing, spun around backwards midway, and while struggling to turn back around bashed my head straight on a light post. I'm suprised I didn't get a concussion (that I'm aware of anyways). Once testing the brakes on a bike my dad insisted I apply the front breaks only coming down a hill, I think you know what happened, yeah that was a stupid thing to do. Dirt biking I've fallen in mid-high 1st gear many a time, but the equipment takes care of that, one day I'm gonna end up impaling myself on a tree branch though. None of these sent me to the hospital except to get ointment for my scab, yet they're all more dramatic than the 3 times I've gotten stiches, my chipped tooth, and my fractured arm.

My brother was walking his bike across a twelve foot barrier wall (with his legs on either side of it) when he fell off. Now if this was a 6-foot wall or if he had the natural reflex of putting his hands down he might be dead, but as it played out he held on tightly to the bike as he did a full 360 barrel roll down the 12 feet, and landed sitting up straight up on the bike, having the bike absorb much of the impact. Perfectly vertical too, because if he was off by more than a tiny bit the force would have knocked him either way. He was just shocked, a little sore, and then just rode on, and met us at the bottom.
