I spell words like that when I'm being highly sarcastic or when speaking to someone who is acting as if they belong to the lower order (intellectually).
I misspell "the" with "teh" and "that" with "taht" ALL the time by accident. Then all of a sudden it became funny or popular to spell it wrong so I became lazy and leave them wrong if it happens. Â
I don't know about the and that, but I really hate it when I spell .com as .ocm. Then I have to wait for the crappy advertisement to load before I can re-type the address properly. GRR!
