It's different, but not VERY different. Overall the CD is still good.Genumaas good as getting an enima with acid
People should realize that they've matured. Try not comparing it to their old stuff. You'll enjoy the album unless you're forcing yourself not to like it on purpose.Genumaif by matured you mean sold out, then yes, they've matured.

Perhaps peoples opinions are different than yours?foxhound_foxYeah but almost EVRYONE ahtes it. Which is strange seeing as how it's sold the most of any 200 CD. Perhaps people are lying?
[QUOTE="Cesb02"]LP has become U2 clones.GenumaI hope you're joking. U2 and Linkin Park have NOTHING in common.
except their new video, in the middle of some form of dessert fighting for humanitarian issues.
[QUOTE="Genuma"][QUOTE="The_Zoid"]I like it better, nu metal was getting to be dead to me.Def_Jef88Is Korn still milking that to death? Im listening to Korn right now.... Since LP left Nu-Metal ive been subsiding on Korn and such..... Korn is so weird. They are going to drop dead soon from all that drug addiction.

Before that day, your just gonna have to keep avoiding them. HA HA!
[QUOTE="Cesb02"]LP has become U2 clones.GenumaI hope you're joking. U2 and Linkin Park have NOTHING in common. Lets get one thing straight. I have only heard their single from this album so far. I like LP in the past. This new song was different but ok i guess. I will give it a chance. But back to the point, you said that U2 had nothing in common with LP. MTV had an interview with LP and asked if U2 was a major factor on this album and they said something like, yes you can see how much they have influenced our music. So obviously you are wrong. But at least you stick up for what you believe in.

I heard a song. And was unsurprised that it sucked like their old stuff albeit it was different.supermetroidfanQuit hating so much!
[QUOTE="The_Zoid"]Put it this way, listen to "With or Without You" by U2 then listen to "Shadow of the Day" by Linkin Park. They're really similar.GenumaNot to ignore your comment, but. Listen to any Snow Patrol song then another Snow Patrol song, they're the same! :D :lol:Roar, I hate Snow Patrol!
I think the reason people don't like it is because now Chester sings like a little boy band sissy, mike doesn't rap, Mr. Hahn doesn't do any of his aesome scratching tracks, they're soft now, and not loud and heavy, and last but not least...CHESTER DOESN'T SCREAM ANYMORE! Thats one of the most awesome traits of Linkin Park.TugboatTheGreatWell, not like a sissy but you do have a point. Listen to half the CD of Minutes To Midnight and listen to the others and there's a big difference in the screaming part.
I was never a huge fan of LP but liked a few of their songs. I guess that would explain why I absolutely love this CD. I had no prior expectations and don't even know LP that well so them having a new sound didn't really have an effect on me.Diesel_CappuccinoI'm a big fan and own both other CDs and I like it better too.

Thats what set them apart from everyone else. They sound like just anothe Alt Rock band now.
COME BACK TO US LP!!!!!!!!!!
No, there were a lot of nu metal bands then. And I would hardly call them just another alt rock band.[QUOTE="Haziqonfire"]The more i listen to it, the more i like it now.The_ZoidExactly same with me. I got worried when I first heard it, but wow it's great after a few listens.
at first i really thought 'what the hell', now im liking it a lot.
