What's your Christmas TV Tradition?

Every year there's the usual slate of Christmas show/movies that all the channels show. What's your favorite thing to watch that makes it feel like the holiday season is finally here? For me it's the Muppet Christmas Carol and Scrooged (yeah, that old movie with Bill Murray). Sometimes I watch the old How the Grinch Stole Christmas. What do you guys watch every year?

Eh I don't watch anything on Christmas anymore unless my family wants me to but then again it depends on what they watch..

I hate Christmas movies. I watch football. How could I even think about missing the Bears spoiling the Packers' percet season this year?

i watch what i normally watch until the Christmas Story marathon comes on, then the TV never leaves that channel. we dont watch the movie over and over, instead we end up seeing bits and pieces and by time the marathon is over, we have seen the whole movie:D

The only one I care about is shrimp at my grandfather's.

EDIT: and watching A Christmas Story seven times on TBS.

Agreed fellow HU fan. Christmas Story is a mainstay in my house as well. Though I don't think my family will be too pleased when I put the Giants - Jets game on this year instead :P

only one thing watch without fail here in the UK on channel 4 'The Snowman' its hauntingly beautiful

Wha Wha What!? You've never seen It's a Wonderful Life :x and to answer your question it usually comes on NBC, actually it was on last night :P but it'll probably come on again on a date closer to xmas. Also you can try renting it because IAWL is the kind of movie every library has a copy of.

I love Rankin/Bass but Rudolph is still the best thing they've ever done

I usually watch Jingle All The Way and that one episod of BTAS where the Joker escapes from jail during X-mas.

These are my favorites that I watch about each year

• Rudolph the movie(1998)
• Rudolph the Red-Noised Reindeer(1988, I think or is it older?)
• Eight Crazy Nights
• Jingle All the Way
• A Christmas Story
• Frosty the Snowman
• Rudolph and Frosty's Christmas in July
• Santa Clause

and think that is all I can think of at the moment. these are the ones that are my favorite.

I watch Die Hard, Home Alone and Gremlins. In that order.

I love little Ralphie. lol

Charlie Brown Christmas is the only thing I watch for Christmas TV stuff. I don't care for the random movies and all that.

I don't know why, but I associate The Dark Crystal with Christmas. So I watch that movie every year on Christmas day haha.

My mom's side of the family watches "The Nightmare Before Christmas" While my fathers side watches "Scrooged". And my guilty pleasure is the Muppets Christmas Carol :D
