The first Hannibal Lecter scene in Silence of the Lambs. Anthony Hopkins is great in that scene.

I like the scene from Tombstone in the bar where Johnny Ringo and Doc are speaking latin to one another. Then Ringo draws his gun and does all the fancy spinning, only to have Doc do the same with his whiskey cup.

When Boromir dies in the Fellowship Of The Ring, or the final charge in The Last Samurai.SolidSnake35

I totally agree with both of those. Or another scene I like is in the extended edition of Return of the King, when Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli see the black ships after trying to convince the Army of the Dead to fight for them and the ensuing scene. There are a load of scenes in the whole Lord of the Rings trilogy I could think of.

Outside of LOTR, any scene in any of the Star Trek movies where something, whether it be the Enterprise or another ship, blows up...especially in Generations...I like explosions, what can I say, lol.

And the scene in Gladiator where Maximus reveals his face to Commodus and says that famous line of his, the look on Commodus face is priceless.

In Gladiator, when he meets the emperor in the arena, and turns his back on him, to which the emperor says "how dare you turn your back on the emperor" and then Maximus makes him look like a fool with that epic speech "husband to a murdered wife, father to a murderd son, and I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next etc"

Oh, I guess I should put a spoilers alert here in case you've lived your entire life under a rock.

*********** SPOILERS ************

Probably my second favorite scene in a movie is from Jaws. The scene at the end where the imagery is so awesome with the sinking boat and feel that scene represents as the water is coming up to me him. Jaws is charging then comes the line..."Smile, you son of a *****!"

I love, love, love that scene! ..and oh, the music. Spectacular!

Building Attack--Children of Men----One of the most emotional scenes I've ever seen as well as being the best action sequence I've seen put on film. The 6-minute tracking shot is absolutely incredible.

The Beach House--Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind----Everything about the scene is absolutely perfect. The dialogue, the lighting, the music, the walls falling down...perfection on film.

Falling Slowly--Once----Guy, Girl, Piano, Guitar...I didn't want the scene to end.

"It's just a really bad time..."--Stranger than Fiction.----Will Ferrell showing he can do more than be funny. Just a fantastic scene.

Out of the above though...I'd have to go with Eternal Sunshine. I don't think I've ever seen something in a movie that has emotionally affected me that much; it seriously hit home.

The end of Dr Strangelove, where Kong (I think it's Kong... the Texan pilot) rides the nuke all the way to that Russian military site. Classic.

Oh, and pretty much every scene in that movie in 'The War Room'. Mein Fuhrer, I can walk!
