I like Thriller type movies the best. I also like horror, not stuff like Saw and such. My favorite type of movies are Zombie types, vampire and werewolves. I also enjoy comedies.
I think the horror genre has lost its way... I agree with you. ;) I like action and all the genres too but I hate musicals aka Slumbdog millionaire, Sweeney Todd etc. and when they are to romantic and crap like that I don't watch them.

My favorite genres are sci-fi, horror, historical fiction, drama, psychological, thriller, comedy, etc. I basically like anything but westerns and romantic comedies (aka chick flicks).

Unfortunately, that is the majority of the stuff coming out :(Not if you keep up. A lot of the good stuff never hits theaters,and unlike the old days that does not mean a film is bad.
