I just recently was in a thread about some random topic and I asked myself "do gamespoters even READ!!?"

I personally read maybe about 20-40 hours a week, and I mostly read stuff about politics/economy, with the exeption of books that I can relate too when I feel bad.

I couldn't pick which book is my favorite, so my 2 favorite's are "1984" by George Orwell and "The Catcher in the Rye" By J. D. Sallinger.

So do you guys read or no?

Other than that...Harry Potter (freaking amazing...I just started book 5 last night), The Audacity of Hope, Sphere, Bones: Buried Deep (based on the TV show, by Max Allan Collins), A Brief History of Time, Big Bang (Simon Singh) and I'm currently working on The Black Hole at the Center of Our Galaxy (Melia).

I do read, but don't have a favourite book. The last book I finished was The Twilight Watch, the third book in the night watch series. I am currently reading a book about norse mythology as well as a plethora of textbooks and lab manuals.

Mine would be "In Death Ground" by David Weber. I love military sci-fi.

Haha no way... I'm reading 1984 by George Orwell for my class "bookclub" book. I've been reading it all day. Great book, as I too am a fan of politics and anything surrounded. Still got 100 pages to go for tomorrow.

Being a writer myself, I'm addicted to reading. I observe professionals to further craft my art. The greatest liturature I have ever laid my hands on was "Shogun," by James Clavelle. He is by no means my favorite author, but he struck a moment of genious with that novel.

I would have to go with either Haruki Murakami's Wild Sheep Chase or Ivan Klima's Love and Garbage.

Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh. It's about a group of Scottish heroin addicts. It's pure genius.

Hmm, well i'm slightly fond of The Dark Tower Series (shocking, right?)...anything by Stephen King really, my favs are Dark Tower IV Wizard and Glass, IT, The Stand, The Shining, the list goes on...other books, hmm, The Stone Angel, Pride and Prejiduce, A Song of Ice and Fire (series), Henry IV Part One (a play, not a book, oh well), Animal Farm, A Child called "it"...the list goes on and on...Sadly i don't have much time to read during the semester (unless textbooks count...although my Phil books are always very fun to read).
