No that doesn't sound right. It came with an envelope and letter or something and there was a Christmas version too.

Whoa TC. I came in here to say that. Also, if you give a pig a pancake, and the rest of the series. And the berenstain bears books, I always loved those.

The dad in those books always struck me as an angry drunk. Anyway, I liked Curious George and especially Thomas the Tank Engine.

"Oh, The Places You'll Go"
"But No Elephants"
"The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe"
"Where the Wild Things Are"
"Are You My Mother?"
"Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"
"Charlotte's Web"
Something about a kid named Fudge, I think.
Redwall
Just about anything by Dr. Seuss and Robert Munsch.
and I seem to remember a book of nursery rhymes, I have no idea what it was called; maybe something to do with Mother Goose. I know I really liked the pictures in it.
And of course, "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland".
To name the few I can think of off the top of my head.

I read 3 of the redwall books years ago, they were good. I read the one about the founding of redwall and then redwall after its foundation and then the one about the founders father I think.

This one about a little dragon that got stuck in a fridge or something, and ate all the pudding.

And "How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight?".

Love You Forever, we had to perform it in kindergarten for our mothers and it made each one of them cry. I'd of said Where The Wild Things Are if my librarian didn't read it to use like every other week for seven years straight, so I was pretty sick of it, and I had to perform it for a children's theater class in college, the overkill of my exposure to it left me with little desire to see the Spike Jonze movie that came out a couple years back.

All fantastic books.
