I don't know if you implied this or not, but EPs and demos are too very different things. EP means Extended Play are short album releases that use a 10" Vinyl @ 33 1/3RPM, or in some cases 45 RPM and are about 20 to 30 minutes long. Demos are more or less album pitches or a rough draft of an album to a record company, band, or musician.

Yeah but I just made it so you could choose either or. :D Usually demos are about the same length as an EP anyway.

Hmmm, I actually have some demos by Demoilition Hammer and Nazi Dust that I listen to every now and then. But, my favorite EP at the moment is probably Batillus's self titled. It's just great.

As far as demos, probably You Know You're Right by Nirvana.

How to Destroy Angels by How to Destroy Angels is my favorite EP.

holiday unheard of, almost no one knew them but they showed so much promise, unfortunately they broke up i believe

Circa Survive- Inuit Sessions EP, my favorite ep of all time. they turned into my favorite band too 3 albums later

In terms of demo's, How It Goes (yes they got the title wrong on the vid) by Billy Talent is easily the best demo song I have ever heard. I actually much prefer it to the final version.

As for EP's, the only EP I got was the kthnxrae EP by Raven Zoey and so far it is the only cd she has got out.
