I've been reading up on some Norse mythology lately, and have been very much enjoying it. I was just wondering, is anyone particuarly fond of a certain mythology? (Current religions may be included :p)

Celtic at the moment. I am familiar with quite a few. Some of the asian stuff interests me a lot also. I gave up on the Norse when you find out that unlike comics thor is about as smart as a brick.mattykovaxAsian mythology is interesting. Particularly Chinese, Indian, and Japanese. I'm sure there are others, but I've been reading up on those the most.
I like Greek mythology. Basically, everyone has sex with everyone, then a bunch of them start turning into animals and have sex with everyone again, and all along, most of them try to murder everyone before/after/during sex. Good stuff.
Norse is my favorite because it's just so ridiculuous and over the top. It manages to have some really cool imagery at the same time too.
Norse mythology makes for a brilliant read. I also like Greek mythology quite a bit, Egyptian mythology creeps me out. Maybe that's why I didn't like it very much on AoM?
I smell an HBO series in the making Marvel Comics cosmology is a fave of mine, as is EgyptianI like Greek mythology.
I kid, I kid. In all seriousness though either Greek or Egyptian - although those are the only two I really am familiar with. My entire knowledge of Norse mythology is from Age of Mythology
-Sun_Tzu-

Loved reading Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Norse and Roman. Currently trying to make a research paper on Hindi and Oriental mythology. :)
Celtic, Norse and Egyptian have always been the most interesting to me. I've never really studied any Asian mythologies, so I should probably read up more on that.
I've always enjoyed both Greek and Japanese. I own a few books for both I think since mythology has always fascinated me 8)
Why "used to"? That's a great myth :PI use to like the myth about the G-spot.:|
