That's a tough question for me because I basically love all of them but I'm really liking Streetlight Manifesto right now, so I'll say they're my favorite.

Streetlight Manifesto and Catch 22 Once you've heard them, most other ska bands absolutely pale in comparision. Streetlight especially has "ruined" ska for me, they are so good. Keasby Nights by either band is a damn solid album.majoras_wrath
I dunno I like Reel Big Fish and Less Than Jake but their songs aren't as consistently good as Streelight's.

After seeing Less Than Jake live, I'd have to agree. Something about Thomas Kalnocky's voice and compositions is just so advanced, it blows all others out of the water.Suburban Legends. At least their old stuff. Their two most recent albums have been pretty meh.Jaks_Secret
The only Ska band that I would pay to see live.:P

More like Reggae: The third-wave Reggae followed Ska. It's an honest mistake to make though. :)Hmm... A top 10 (a genre like Ska requires such)! 10. Skankin' Pickle (third wave Ska does deserve some recognition after all). 9. The Heptones 8. The Selecter. 7. Laurel Aitken 6. Duke Reid (An MC, DJ, band leader, and producer). 5. The Specials 4. King Hammond 3. The Skatalites 2. Alton Ellis 1. Desmond Dekker I'll teach you about Ska, Dancehall, Reggae, Dub, Ragga, Calypso, Rocksteady, and other genres rooted in the Caribbean, Juggernaut. ;) Mclovin, third wave Ska has incorporated aspects of Swing, but Ska is generally influenced by American Soul, (Rhythm and) Blues, and Jazz, as well as traditional African music, primarily East African music. It really is an intriguing story, if you're interested. :)YourChaosIsntMe
