How witty  I'm not big on cigarettes but I smoke cheap cigars. I'm a fan of Black&Mild Creams. The brand that kills people the fastest.

I know huh? When I didn't know any better (or care about my health or hygine), I used to smoke Camel Wides, Camel 99's, and once I went through a whole pack of Unfiltered Pall Malls ... *shudders* I bought GPCs when I was low on funds.
I do agree that expensive cigars and good pipe tobacco smells pretty damn good when smoked.
Haven't smoked in about a year, long overdue for one. I really enjoy cheap cigars. They are called Captain Black Gold.
i try not to buy them anymore, but if i'm going to buy a pack, it's going to be camel filters or camel lights

Smoking serves absolutely no purpose. So I don't smoke.

If recreational items serve no purpose, I'm wondering why you're registered on a website dedicated to videogames.

That's interesting. That's not what you said. You said "Smoking serves no purpose." Obviously smoking does serve a purpose: It makes people happy. A great many devices exist solely for recreation. So, I assumed you were launching an attack against recreational items. Is this the case? How does an item causing health problems indicate that it has no purpose? I'm completely failing to understand the your reasoning. Please explain.

I see people at work go out in freezing cold weather to put a burning stick in there mouth, They didn't look too happy about it. Anyways, your taking it literally. Of course it has a "purpose". Everything can have a purpose to somebody. A cigarettes purpose was to make the tobacco company's millions and billions of dollars, and it has succeeded well in that purpose. But it still has know real use or benefit to society.Video games don't cause cancer and bad breath.[QUOTE="racer8dan"]

purpose? as in, true, defining, life-affirming purpose?
Maybe not.
But I smoke because it tastes good, makes me feel good, goes great while drinking, is good for socializing
that is more than enough purpose for me.

I'm taking your comments too literally? Should I take them figuratively? Or do you mean that I should give people wiggle room to make statements that are not supportable in any logical fashion? Anyway, I take it that by listing off purposes for cigarettes, you're voiding your statement "Cigarettes have no purpose." Your final statement there is highly debatable, but at least it is debatable, as opposed to "Cigarettes have no purpose," which is ridiculous from any common frame of reference.
[QUOTE="racer8dan"]THEN DON'T POST ANYTHING IN THE ****ING THREAD! I loled. Anyways, I enjoy smoking woodtip wine B&M's on occasion. I also had a badass Hammer & Sickle cigar. However, I am no fan of regular cigarettes. Not my cup of tea.Smoking serves absolutely no purpose. So I don't smoke.
