Ridley Scott's Legend was really cool.
Edge of Tomorrow is my favorite at the moment.
And I agree with TC, Collateral was pretty awesome.
The guy has done lots of good movies.
It's a tie between Minority Report and Mission Impossible; with Vanilla Sky coming in second.
I forgot about Vanilla Sky...loved it.
Collateral, Jerry Maguire, Far and Away, Days of Thunder, Top Gun....lots of good movies.
Top Gun 2 has been confirmed.
He has so many good films it's hard to choose. I loved Edge of Tomorrow, Jack Reacher, Mission Impossible and Minority Report are also very good.
Tom Cruise maybe loony, but the man knows how to run his career and act.. I loved Minority Report, Edge of Tomorrow, and Oblivion for great sci-fi action flicks.. Other great flicks that come to mind include Legend, A Few Good Men, Risky Business, Collateral, and Interview with the Vampire.
I hate tom cruise running style .... and why the f he always have that monotone dash/run in almost all his movies??
Valkyrie and Top Gun imho. Both excellent movies with great supporting cast. His german wasn't bad either in the movie either
Mission Impossible 2. Mainly because of the Woo.
Agreed. MI1 was pretty badly written, MI2 was over-the-top but fun, MI3 was pretty mediocre, but MI4 helped bring it back.
Others include:
Edge of Tomorrow (I generally give crap to people who just pick the most recent example, but this was actually a very solid movie)
Collateral (I digg Michael Mann and Jaime Fox did a good job)
Eyes Wide Shut
Jack Reacher
Interview with a Vampire (Anne Rice fruitiness but a decent flic overall)
I really wish they'd stop putting Tom Cruise in movies that I want to see, because he really annoys the shit of out me but I tolerate him because he manages to be in some interesting flics.
-Byshop
Risky Business remains his best movie. He's actually a very good actor, people like to make fun of him because he's weird, but he's a talented actor.
Also, Jerry Mcguire
- A Few Good Men
- Mission: Impossible
- Minority Report
- War Of The Worlds
He hasn't been in that many films, I have noticed.
hes been in 41 films.
its a tie for me with Interview with the Vampire and Mission Impossible 3.
in the interest of trolling, I'm going to say Tropic Thunder. =P
Who here is a key grip?
When he's one of the main actors
When he's a supporting actor
