Just like when people are asked their heights 90% are around 6'2".Lol I noticed that too. I'm in the 99.9th percentile at 6'7.
Unfortunately my IQ is alot more average. I took a test my psychiatrist gave me in 9th grade to diagnose ADD and got a 140.
140 is pertty good.
He said it was good at the time. Unfortunately, ADD lowers the amount of intelligence your brain can effectively use. He said that although my IQ is 140, I was operating at closer to 130. Adderol fixed that for awhile. I still have some problems concentrating though, I might go back and see him about adult ADD. I tend to forget things as well.
140 is like 99.7th percentile depending on the test you took. Even 130 is pretty damn good (95th percentile). And ADD doesn't nessecarrily lower the amount of intelligence your brain can use (dumbest thing I've ever heard for a number of reasons that I won't get into). It can make it harder for you to learn and do well on tests since you're rarely paying attention but it doesn't limit your intelligence.
As for me I don't know my overall IQ. I got tested back when I was like 10 years old and since I was never filled in on anything (or just didn't care and as a result forgot it) I don't really know the full details. All I know is two subtest scores I got (128 verbal IQ and 108 perceptual-motor IQ). From what I hear the verbal subtest score tends to be about the same as the overall so I guess that gives a rough idea.
