Well, the best IQ test I could find on the internet. It's from the BBC so I imagine it couldn't be too bad.

I got a pathetic score of 70.

I took an actual IQ test in my Psychology class last year, got a 146, highest in class. I was aiming for 150 but eh, I am kind of dumb.
That's a knowledge test, not an IQ test. Also, generally IQ tests administered online are not considered particularly useful.xaos
I think I linked you to the wrong page. If you look on the left you will see the option 'Test the nation.' Click that and it will take you to another page which contains the link to the IQ test.
Sorry, but it won'tlet me link you to the actual page.

Read the entire post. That's not an IQ test, had nothing to do with solving.
Anyway I'm around 120-140 IQ.

You should have read my post before following the link. Nice fun fact btw.Terrible test...boring...i guessed halfway through and got 30 out of 65...not an IQ test by the way

I was going to say that with a score of 70 on an IQ test he probably shouldn't have been able to write as cogent of a post as he did.
What the f***? I just clicked the link and unless I am terribly mistaken, that didn't test intelligence. Or perhaps that's the justification I conjured up following rage-quitting due to being unable to answer the first three questions.

I'm going to attribute that to laziness. Checking now.
Clearly anyone under 16 is incapable of possessing intelligence. What age bracket do you fit in to?
sherman-tank1
Lowest option: 16-20... What if you are 15?

Just say 16 I suppose. Not sure why it doesn't contain a younger option.
mmm got to love culturally biased IQ tests (i.e. all of them)
I started it, realized it was skewed towards British people then stopped. My IQ on a test given by a psychologist (with an american bias of course) was 136.
Well, i tried to take that test, but it was so boring.
I do remember taking an IQ test in psychology and comparing it to our GPA to see the correlation. I had the highest IQ of 137 but the worst GPA. Teacher then asked why i have bad grades. Told her i dont do homework.
The WAIS is the general standard IQ test, and even that is of limited value and accuracy except as part of a larger series of tests to isolate specific learning deficits. Needless to say, that limited use and accuracy is lost entirely when self-administered. Frame_DraggerI got above average on the WAIS III apparently.

That's certainly a good thing; remember the innacuracy is an issue of its use on large populations, and unless you have a specific learning disability or fall outside of its range, you can put reasonable faith in it. So.. mazeltov! :)
Last time i tried one of these online IQ test I got something ridiculous like 160...(I'm not that smart, not even close; it's just online IQ tests that are garbage) Back in high school I had a real IQ test and i scored 124 if i remember correctly.Tykain124 is quite good actually, whereas 160 is three points below Einstein, so yeah, as you say garbage.
