Gotta go with 3. I wouldn't call it lucky for me, but it is my favorite number.

I reckon 7. If in a large parking lot I always try to park on row 7 so I always know where I am.

It's the answer. I don't have a lucky number, though I like to use 7 or 11 depending the situation.

Mine are 1138 and 576.

My only particularly lucky smaller number is 6.

I love the number 6, mostly because of the sheer perfection of the hexagon.

Any reason for 1138?

THX-1138 ring any bells for you? :P It's also just a number that seems to follow me around-the last four digits of my motherboard's serial code are 1138, and the sequence makes its way into at least half of my games' CD keys. In addition, I've been to two extremely nice hotels in my life time (only two), and, at each one, my family's room number was 1138. Since it follows me around so much, I assume it's either my lucky or unlucky number, and I just hope it's the former :P

Yeah, I've heard of it. I was just asking because that was the team number of my high school robotics team.

The latter only bears significance to me because it is the key code to a locked door somewhere in Deus Ex.

We have a pretty good team. We aren't dominant or anything but we are one of the stronger teams in our area and we make the playoffs at most of our competitions. Highlights were winning the LA regional competition in 2006 and winning the LA regional chairmans award (The highest regional award) in 2009. I'm still involved with the team as a mentor even though I graduated.

I've played Deus Ex over 30 times, now. I could probably draw you a map of each area, complete with important item placements, locked doors, keypads, and security terminals, complete with codes for the keypads and login/passwords of each security terminal. On top of that, I could tell you where almost every key for every locked door is :P

Yeah, It's pretty awesome. If you live in the US you can probably find a high school in your area with a team you can mentor if you're interested, but it can be difficult to do while in college. There is a pretty big time commitment, it gets pretty intense during the build season and it can be difficult when you're taking classes.

Ever make a Pascal triangle with the formula of c = a!+b! where a and b are the two numbers above c before? It's quite fun.

Not much goes on in mine either. During my entire first year of college, I hardly ever left my room and only made four friends. I also didn't attend any social functions that involved more than five people. Chances are you have more of a life than I do :P

I just finished my first semester of college. No new friends gained, I usually don't attend social functions at all. In fact I am known to go months without even seeing or talking to my friends. I'm inside of my house pretty much all of the time. The good news is that I am getting sick of my life, so I'm going to change it.

I don't know if it's lucky or not, but I do know it's magic. Why? Because e^(i*PI) = -1
