What's wrong with showing some love?TheFlush
I hug a few of my friends, usually with a handshake then hug. No big deal to me. I did hug my little brother a bit back when I dropped him off at the air base to head to Iraq and I think it hurt us both we hugged so hard, we looked at each other and were like damn!btaylor2404Oh that sounds terrible, I would hate to be in such a situation with my brother. How is he doing?
That's actually a bit sad don't you think?TheFlush
I don't care, just don't hug me. If a guy holds out his arms I'll give him a hug not to be rude but ugh.VacantPsalm*holds out arms to hug* come on lets hug it out *****

Like when two heterosexual men hug as friends. Is it wierd or acceptable? I say acceptable.waltw_84whether or not it's acceptable depends on the culture
I give all my friends hugs, especially when I havent seen them.
Its only awkward when you see them from a distance, then run up to them, pause, then embrace. I did that once, and eve I felt like giving myself crap for doing that. Fortunately my friends did that for me :P
But no, its not gay or anything, jeeeez. And its not like we are kissing eachother, though even that is perfectly fine in other cultures.

Thanks, he's ok, driving a hummer on the main hwy in Baghdad checking for IED's. But only 1 month into ??? Even though I knew it was coming for a while I've had quite a tough time with it. He's 28, I'm 33 and I have always been very opposed to the war, and feel I should protect/watch after my little brother regardless of age and now I can't. Been very angry about it since he left, but there's nothing to do about it. Again thanks for the concern.
