What's your opinion on reality shows?

I was just briefly watching "Celebrity Apprentice", but since I hate Reality Shows, I eventually got tired of the drama.

What do you think about them, are they entertaining?

There are some great ones and some really horrible ones. I just don't like that they've taken over everything because they don't cost anything to make.

It would be better if they added random gore and sex.

There are a few good ones like Hell's Kitchen but other than that they're all pretty much horrible (especially the ones on MTV).

After Rudy lost on the first season of Survivor I never watched another reality show ever again

I liked them when I was a kid because it was something unusual but now they're commonplace and usually pretty damn awful.

A large majority suck. Some I actually like.

Most, if not every instance, are unwatchable imo.

I like them, It's something to get into. And I like watching other peoples real drama then fake drama.

I too like Hell's Kitchen. Cops, Bait Car (this is really funny), Police POV and most of all, The Smoking Gun Presents: The World's Dumbest ________ all get a laugh from me. The looks on peoples faces when they get busted driving a stolen car, or busted for drugs for the dumbest reasons (something as simple as a license plate light being out can incite a traffic stop) all elict laughter.

Reality TV is all trash unless it's the Reality Game Shows like Survivor or The Amazing Race.

I find them entertaining. Good hw distraction too.

Mindless entertainment that gets dull pretty quick. I never understood why someone would want to watch someone get paid for living a fake life when you can live yours and have a way better experience. Variety is old school. Nowadays, networks will just pump out endless repeats of the same show all day.

These shows desenitize viewers to think it's okay to be arrogant, self absorbed and sleep with anybody. People running around yelling, drama, acting crazy doing bizzare s*** gets boring quick imo. I have seen a few with chics that was slightly entertaining but only because we were making fun of how silly they were. They can be pretty funny sometimes watching them on mute with a girl who has a sense of humor. If I attempt to wtach them for long, I feel like my brain is turning into mush.

They're mostly garbage. Not to mention that they're home to some of the most annoying people imaginable.

I liked two seasons of Survivor (Gabon and Tocantins). It got boring after that, but I liked those two a lot. Other than that I can't think of any reality show I ever liked.

With some twist of actual reality, I find them bearable. Though I can understand why that may not be the most fun approach. I think it's just the overall abundance that turns me off.

It's like watching a human zoo where all the people throw their crap at each other in ways which would make a chimp blush.

I like some reality shows.

I'd rather watch someone's vlog.

Shows like Survivor have a real voyeuristic property to them. Let's watch these people argue and betray each other while they get all sweaty and dirty in their tight little tank tops etc. Stuff like Celebrity Apprentice, egads...I can't even imagine the appeal of that. That would require an interest in about ten layers of pop culture pablum and I'm not even interested in one.
