Whats your opinion on weed?

Im just curious, I went to this new high school this year, not even 3 days and i notice that EVERYONE here smokes weed, except for just about every girl. Since I look like the dudes who smoke weed, but I refuse drugs/alcohol, I have like no friends except for the ones I have had forever. I think its pathetic. People go to a school, and their only way to fit in is by being everyone else, and smoking weed. Not to mention this is like one of the WORST schools in the area, lowest scores in like everything, just the school I was going to didnt have my grade.

Do you smoke pot? If so, do you really think its worth it? Do you really need to do that to make friends and have fun?

I mean, I still have several friends, and Im like the top of the class. I was taking AP government in 9th grade. I finished chemistry in 9th grade as well. All these pot smokers, all these groups of friends are failing classes that I aced in 9th and 10th grade, while they are my age. Some of them are kids that I used to know that used to be really smart and used to hang out with me alot, but instead on weekends they're rolling blunts and drinking. What a goddamn shame.

Whats your opinion on weed? I wont beat you down if you're like "SCREW YOU YOUR NOT COOL" cause I've heard that thousands of times and I really dont care at all.

It is merely another activity/vice for people to use should they so desire. It is harmful, but nowhere near a prohibitive degree. I see no reason why you can't be friends with people that smoke just because you don't. I had plenty of friends that did not smoke when I did in high school, and I have had plenty of friends that do when I have quit...

Better than booze. At least pot smokers don't smell like piss, or are tied to the toilet, can't hit the toilet, can't talk straight, can't walk straight, and want to fight all the time.

IMO it should be alcohol that's illegal, because it's users are just disgusting.

I think it is a fantastic substance that gets looked down on by people who generalize and believe in stereotypes.

Pro legalization, taxation, and regulation of it.

Never done it but don't really mind the people that do use it and don't see a problem with legalization of it.

i disagree with # 3. i still pay my bills and show up to work and write music and analyze wave formats. i wouldn't say any of that is exemplary of stupidity or laziness.

if the TS doesn't want to try it then don't. but don't give the people who do try it and/or like it problems just because you're on some holier than thou high horse. some of the brightest people i've ever met smoke pot.

Im glad to see so many people object to it.....I think its disgusting. I want to stay as clean as possible, drink in moderation, etc......

I am working on a rigorous 19 credit hour per semester electrical engineering degree and a full time internship so don't give me that bull****.

:P i actually analyze sound wave forms, their harmonic over and undertones, acoustic tones, feedback and alter as needed if possible or re-record. this is for my own music and i've only really started studying waves over the last 2 years or so but to me its really fun, seeing visually the sciences behind sound and even energy is awesome.

It was illegal at one point. But the only led to and sharp increase in violence and crime so the US made it legal and regulated it. The same should be done with all substances, becaues not only do gangs lose a prime source of income (legalising will make the price of the substance drop as it will be much easier to attain) but they will also lose the control they have over the drug industry.

True, I was watching it more from a productivity level.

It's not "cool" it doesn't make anyone "cool". Ask any hardcore stoner, and they'll tell you people who smoke weed to be cool are posers and losers. Same with drinking. I go to a trade school, and it's not very athletic (no football team!!) so a lot of people smoke here. I have smoked on occasion, and it's fun, but I don't feel "cooler" because I do it.mohfrontline
