Whats your thoughts on the band "Coldplay" ?

Do you think coldplay is a good band? Are they musically talented? One of the best bands this past decade? Whats your thoughts, if you never heard of them, I recommend you to check out their hit song, "Viva La Vida", its pretty catchy and has lots of viewers on youtube.

my friend keeps playing one of there songs on the piano and its starting to piss me off. but i give them a 3/5

Coldplay is one of my favorite bands ever. My favorite songs from them include Clocks, Viva La Vida, Yellow, Violet Hill, Fix you, and of course Lovers in Japan.

It was a long and dark December.... from the rooftops I remember... There was snow...

I think all their songs are better when sung in a high falsetto like the Bee Gees.

They're pretty good, not one of my favorites. I haven't heard most of their music, but the stuff that I have heard is fairly enjoyable.

I really like "The Scientist" and "Viva La Vida".

Parachutes is a great album

A Rush Of Blood is mediocre

X&Y is poor

Viva La Vida is okay

They have a few good songs, but on the whole they're quite boring and middle of the road. They're too "polite" for my tastes.

I like Viva La Vida.

They are pretty repetitive, but songs like Yellow, Clocks, Speed of Sound, and Viva la Vida are guaranteed to make me stay on whatever station they're being played on.

I think of them as a lightweight U2.......but not as good.LJS9502_basic

Only listened to a few songs, and they were pretty boring.

I'm a huge fan. Sort of. I've listened to all their albums and paid big bucks for a good seat at one of their shows.

They sound great, is the bottom line. They're not as *talented* as many other artists, but sometimes simple is better. They have mass appeal, and their performances live are nothing short of epic. By the end of the show, you'd feel like starting your own revolution.

I'm looking forward to their next album. I do put my other favourite indie bands above Coldplay, but I'm always up for a new album.

They are popular and current there for cannot possibly be a quality band

They're lightweight and inoffensive. I can stand listening to them, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do so. They have like two or three songs I genuinely enjoy. 6/10.

Booooooooring. Chris Martin did grow up just up the road from where I grew up though so I should support the local Devonlad. I just find him/them annoying though…

Yeah, I like them. I've been listening to Cemeteries of London lately.

I'm in Satch's camp. I don't like them. Plus Kayne west says there better than the Beatles.
