What's your virginity to you?

In what kind of regard do you hold your virginity, and how important is it to you in keeping it? In other words, how do you plan on handling it?

i.e. I'm a virgin (no surprise) and as much as I don't think of it as a big deal, oddly enough I still don't think I want to "lose it" to just anyone (like a one night stand, etc.). This might seem crazy to some but I think I'd rather just save it for the right person, preferably the one I marry/am in love with and not just waste it on someone I'll probably never see again. If I were to make ANYTHING of it I guess it would have something to do with trust, but considering my lack of "experience" of course I could be totally wrong about that.

What about all of you, if you don't mind me asking?

Pretty important. It's only fair that I stay one if I want my wife to be one as well.

Ive never understood the im saving it for the right person aka until i get married approach. Im not saying whore yourself out or anything but its my personal belief that sex plays a large part in a relationship. Its not everything but your gonna want to have sex if you do indeed like somebody As such you really should should have it at least once with a person before you marry them. I mean you should fully know somebody before you make a lifelong commitment to them. You really do set yourself up for a huge fall when you go in with those disney land expectations. Theres a good chance the first person you sleep with will not be your soul mate regardless of what you think at the time.

If two people are really into each other and they want to take it to the next lvl they should be able to without getting married. As long as you not going too fast and as long as your playing it safe your good to go.

Another completely useless thing I don't need and don't exactly care if I have or not probably don't remember if I have that still or not anyway.

Like an old friend I knew a long long time ago, and no matter how much i'd like to see this friend again... well I know deep down it's not going to happen.

I just don't think about it. It's not something that comes up. I don't judge the virginity of other people either. It's a silly, overblown concept, if you ask me. Sex is a very personal issue. People set different priorities on it. Everyone has a different sex drive. Everyone wants to have sex when they feel most comfortable and ready for it, and that varies from person to person. I'm just not someone who thinks that people have more or less worth according to the state of their virginity. There are much better characteristics to judge or gauge a person's character.

As for myself personally...I have a very low sex drive and very limited interest in sex. If/when I decide to have sex for the first time, it will likely be with someone I care about a lot because I'm not going to waste my time on someone I don't care for. That's just how I prioritize it. I'm neither more 'right' nor more 'wrong' than anyone else. I don't care if people have frequent casual sex or no sex at all. It's their business.

I'm not chastising you if you've made the conscious choice to avoid sex for that reason, but I will say this. Sex really can just be fun and guiltless.
